Restaurante Solar do Poeta - Bar & Bistro

Solar do Poeta Restaurant is a 120 year old building situated adjacent to the EN125 sitting high above the Almancil slip-road, near Sao Lourenco Church. It is now home to owners Lil & Glen Wood & along with Chef Sean, who have recently re-furbished & re-opened this wonderful character building to offer you very high quality food cooked with the freshest ingredients.

The building is spacious, with a large restaurant & a separate eating area next to our well stocked bar to enjoy those pre-dinner drinks. Outside is a large terrace if you wish to take advantage of sunny days & warm evenings. Free Wi-Fi. Ample private parking.

Our Tuesday to Friday Lunch Menu, you can enjoy a 2-course meal with a drink for only €10, or spoil yourself with 3-courses for an amazing €13. Tuesday to Friday evenings, offers you international cuisine from our full ALa Carte Menu including aged matured steaks, prawns piri-piri & fresh fish, alongside our daily changing "Specials Board".

Sunday's we serve Lunch & Evening, our Outstanding Carvery. Top Quality meats of Lamb, Beef & Pork, (Chicken and Fish options available), served with Roast Potatoes, Fresh Vegetables, Yorkshires Puddings, Cauliflower Cheese and Homemade Gravy, cannot be missed @ €12-95. Bookings are advised!!
